This is the first part of the show in GPS series….EP73. I was going thru some old folders looking for some forgotten gems in my bag. Most of these track I played just few times and completely forgot them. Thats the bad side of being addicted of continuous pursuit for new tracks.
My next guest is Marseille-based DJ and Producer, Alaix Pulse. Fascinated by African rhythms and heavily influenced by 90ies pop-rock culture, Alaix Pulse has been able to convey emotion and feelings with music.
Drawing inspiration from natural elements and the animal life that surrounds us, he forces himself to go off the beaten path and find new ways to engage people into his music.
This is part 2 of my radio show that day. First part you can listen in new post.
GPS continues on Thursday, July 6th. My pursuit for a perfect mix and new artists is gonna be focused on Balkan for next few months. We kick of with Croatia, the home of Moondance Festival, Hideout Festival Croatia, Love International Festival, Barbarinac – Island of Love and many more. This time I bring you Lawrence Klein from The City of Sibenik. He is The Croatian winner of the Burn Residency Contest.
I did a small Interview with him and you can hear it just before his mix in this edition of my show.
Behind the alias Lawrence Klein is Lovre Kanjer, he jumps behind the decks in 2011. In his DJ sets he takes you through intriguing stories and slightly indented, leading to peaks then let their emotions calm down, and all of this makes with the interplay of deep house and deep techno. He is also one of the founders of the project Tour de Sound which is focused mainly on the House music sound with whom he did a considerable number of DJ gigs, and even live acts.
